					<description>hi Jim,

Why did you put my name in place of your own?

You can still visit. I promise you we will be bat free when you're here.

And as an update, so far, no bats. Looks like they left and I've sealed up the holes. My friend Erik also sent me an email with tips on getting rid of bats (the secret ingredient is a flashlight) and we have a good plan to handle their return should it happen (to be clear: I strongly fucking hope they do NOT come back).

Myself, I got no problem with bats when their at the proper distance. But when they're all up in my space, that SUCKS. I left out all the details, like me and Trent wrapping ourselves in towels and blankets in the hope we'd be less likely to get bitten, and all the panicky dialog and stuff, a la &quot;oh shit oh fuck&quot; and trying to crouch below them etc etc. Ugh. Yeah this sucked. Oh yeah, Angelica says I should mention, I wore that cool hat I got at that one place the location of which I forget. I had just bicked my head the day before so I felt extra vulnerable (I mean, my hair is thinning badly and all that, but at least it's SOMETHING). Angelica said that I actually had an advantage, that the bat couldn't get stuck in my hair. I'm not sure I believe that - I mean, I could say the bat was not going to get right up on her scalp, which seems from my point of view like an advantage. (She has more arguments but I control the blog so I win. Take that! Quit reading over my shoulder! [No wait, come back, I was kidding.])

stupid bats.
