ha!

I finished the book this morning. There's the occasional line or paragraph that I like, but over all I don't even know where to start. The whole thing strikes me as wrongheaded and mistaken - transposing political stakes (which are never clearly laid out) into philosophical problems as a way to make philosophical problems seem urgent and as a way to create some sense of political progress. And some of the moves made along the way just don't work or have unsavory aspects. It's really too bad as I think Negri is capable of real insights.

"Porcelain Workshop" - Yes, on my way out of the bathroom this morning I noticed my porcelian workshop needs a shot of porcelian workshop cleanser and a little scrubbing.
