Sorry to hear about this. I remember having to put my dog to sleep in the middle of one of our Stockton strikes back in 2004. Bad news. Hope you and Angelica are as well as can be.

Hi. My fiancé and I have a 23 year-old cat still peeing everywhere (she's had the cat since she was four). You have my sympathies.

Thanks friends. She died last night at the veternary hospital. The vet told me to take her to the university's emergency pet hospital and ICU, said it might be a stroke or a blood clot. At the hospital they ran tests and stuff and said they weren't sure but that she was very dehydrated due to a recent and undetected change in her kidney disease. They said dehydration can lead to stroke-like symptoms. That got our hopes up that she'd be okay, previously we'd been pretty sure she was going to die. The plan was to keep her overnight to rehydrate and stabilize her kidneys. Then they called us just after we'd gone to bed to say she had stopped breathing, they're not sure why. It's all very sad. I appreciate your kind and supportive words.

Sucks. I'm really sorry for you and your partner. Sick animals are bad enough, but sick and potentially dying is even worse. And the fact that she's had this cat since she was 8 is heartbreaking.
