My wife is out of town and so of course I take advantage of the total autonomy of my time by being bored and listless. To pass the time I rented DVDs of Desperate Housewives among other things, which I think is fantastic. I think I did about two hours straight of drum rolls on the practice pad, or maybe more (I've watched 3 discs of the show since Saturday...). My hands are sore but I think the rolls are coming along better. Hurray for drums. My friend Ben has also offered to show me the basics of turntablism, which would be fantastic.
